Valpo Consulting was built by marketing and sales experts ready to support early-stage businesses GTM in a more cohesive and productive way. After working with over 75+ venture-backed and bootstrapped tech companies across industries, we saw a common pattern among companies struggling, or plateauing— the story wasn’t landing with customers, and thus sales were impacted. We set out to change this, and help more early-stage companies find the story that sells.
Meet Mary Walsh
I have spent the last decade in San Francisco as a sales rep, a marketing manager, and a content director in tech. Across tech industries and team functions, I’ve come to understand the common disconnects and challenges founders and early-stage teams face and am passionate about pairing creativity and process for early and sustained success.

I spent six months in Valparaíso Chile, in college, after a highschool teacher had introduced me to the idea. At the time it was the most challenging and rewarding and eye-opening time of my life, and I always had this feeling—I’m supposed to be here.
The same feeling hit me again when I set out to start a business. When it came time to name it, I kept coming back to that sense I’d had in Valpo. -
Sales storytelling is a basis for positioning, messaging, pitch and thought-leadership. We work with teams to provide a framework to create and recreate sales stories, and repurpose for various needs.

We work predominantly with B2B SaaS across— edtech, healthtech, Saas, AI and fintech. However are open to working with any B2B company, or B2B2C marketplace.
